Do you know that God had a plan of salvation starting from the book of Genesis? In Genesis 3 verses 14-15: So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."
Can I tell you - God loves you! He loves us so much, that he created you and I to have relationship with him. It is not his wish that any of us should perish. 2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. He is giving each and everyone of us time to repent, because we are separated from God because of sin. (Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God). Although He loves us, He is just and holy and our sins grieve Him; the wages of sin is death - we are all condemned to an eternal separation from God. He knows that none of us can pay this debt, so He sent His only begotten Son to take our place to pay the price for sin (John 3:16). He died, was buried and rose again in victory - He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father and IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD! Now when you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you will receive forgiveness for your sin and be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9.) Do you know how easy it is to accept the gift of salvation? Romans 10: 9-10: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. When you make that decision to make Christ Lord and Savior of your life, you choose to turn away from sin and surrender your life to Him (Gal. 2:20). Will it be easy? No, but you have an advocate in Jesus Christ. You will also receive the power of the Holy Spirit to live a life that is pleasing to God (2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!).
Believe me that He loves you very much, no matter what you have done. There is nothing that He can't forgive. Hell was never made for us, but for the devil and his angels. I'm not talking about you getting religion, but having a relationship with your Creator. He is not too busy for you...there is no crisis in this world so great that He won't take the time to hear your cry. But don't just talk at Him, listen for what He has to say too.
